Pamela Scriven QC specializes in all areas of children’s law, both public and private. She has dealt with some of the longest and most difficult cases in this area. She has a great deal of experience in cases where there are allegations of alleged physical injury of all types, including non-accidental head injury, “unknown cause” cases, and of alleged factitious illness. She is well used to the analysis and scrutiny of complex expert evidence. She is also  experienced in cases where there are extremely complex allegations of sexual abuse, including cases where there are multiple allegations of abuse by unrelated complainants (alleged paedophile rings). Her wide experience includes cases of medical treatment of children/mentally defective adults, of child abduction and the international elements of family disputes, and of adoption.
