Christopher McCourt is a busy Family Law and Professional Negligence practitioner. He specialises in Matrimonial Finance and Property (including all aspects of claims between unmarried partners) and related Divorce matters. Christopher is also instructed in Schedule One Children Act matters and Inheritance Act claims.
Christopher’s successful Professional Negligence practice arises out of Matrimonial Finance and Property claims where he is regularly instructed by Solicitors’ firms around the country and by leading Insurers to advise and to act on behalf of solicitors and barristers.
Christopher has extensive experience at all levels both in London (in the Family and Queen’s Bench divisions) and provincially. Having been a solicitor he is alive to the needs of both solicitors and their clients and brings a commercial pragmatism to cases. He is very good with clients, has a flexible approach and an excellent attention to detail.
Christopher is an established advocacy trainer for the Inner Temple.
