Michael Warren has wide experience in Criminal Law, both prosecuting and defending, in Family Law both public and private and in general Common Law.
Criminal Law experience covers all types of cases particularly murder, serious sexual offences, offences against children and commercial fraud. He was recently involved as junior counsel for the Crown in a child murder case involving the deaths of three infants (issues of SIDS, Munchausen's by proxy and suffocation involved); and for 6 months as junior defence counsel in a fraudulent trading case. He has also defended against the SFO.
Family Law experience includes finance and children, inheritance and unmarried couples. He has advised and represented both husbands and wives in substantial money cases involving forensic accountants and in cases where the principle asset was a farm.
