Sara Staite has an established practice in Private Family Law (with particular emphasis on matrimonial finance), Inheritance Act matters and Cohabitation as well as in Medical Negligence.
Sara Staite is an extremely well respected and experienced member of the Family Law team within Chambers. Although she specialises in matrimonial finance cases and has been involved in several “big money” high profile cases, she also has an established practice in private law children cases and inheritance act and cohabitation disputes. In particular, the decision of the appellate court in a recent reported divorce case involving the distribution of a family farm [Re R 2004 1FLR928] in which Miss Staite acted for the wife has become the benchmark for subsequent settlements in farming cases.
