Susan Wilkins practises in all areas of family law.
Public Law Children: Advising and acting for parents, extended family members, local authorities and children in care and adoption proceedings at all levels, including Placement and Special Guardianship applications arising under the Adoption and Children Act 2002.
Private Law Children: Susan’s experience covers all aspects of private law children cases at all levels, including complex (and intractable) residence and contact disputes, cases with an international element, allegations of child abuse within a private law context, and private law cases involving serious domestic violence and related fact finding hearings.
Ancillary Relief: Advising and acting in all aspects of ancillary relief and related enforcement proceedings.
Susan has a background in criminal law and has regularly acted for both prosecution and defence.
