1KBW at forefront of Children’s Arbitration Scheme

1 Kings Bench Walk is proud to announce that HHJ Altman and Nicola Fox are the first to qualify from 1KBW to be Children’s Arbitrators, able to conduct  arbitrations in children matters. The new Arbitration Children scheme will be announced on 18th July 2016. The scheme provides an alternative to the stress involved in going to court for children’s cases, giving both parties a quick, reliable, convenient, safe and efficient resolution to children disputes. Judge Altman and Nicola Fox are at the forefront of this addition to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) approaches for resolving family matters.

Philip Marshall QC, Joint Head of chambers said:

“The launch of IFLA’s new Children Arbitration scheme is an exciting next step in the drive to provide an effective and more user friendly alternative to court based litigation. 1KBW is delighted to be part of this process.”

Having two members of chambers qualified in Children’s Arbitration further demonstrates 1KBW’s ongoing commitment to provide the widest possible range of services to maintain our place as a market leader in family law matters.
