1KBW is delighted to announce that Fatima Ismail has been awarded the prestigious Pegasus Scholarship by the Inner Temple’s Pegasus Scholarship Trust.
Later this week, Fatima is set to begin an exciting placement in Malaysia, organised by the Malaysia Inner Temple Alumni Association (MITAA). Her scholarship will include time at the High Courts in both Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, as well as Malaysia’s Federal Court and Court of Appeal in Putrajaya.
To broaden her insight into the family justice system in Malaysia, MITAA has also arranged for Fatima to gain experience at the Federal Territories Syariah High Court and Syariah Court of Appeal.
The Pegasus Scholarship Trust, under the guardianship of Inner Temple, aims to foster a network of internationally minded lawyers. Gaining insight into legal practice across different countries and building lasting connections between future lawyers worldwide is increasingly essential.
