Victoria joined chambers as a tenant following the completion of her pupillage in October 2018.

Victoria’s practice now encompasses all areas of family law, from first to final hearing. She has experience representing clients at all levels up to and including the High Court. She is confident acting alone or as a junior.

Victoria acts on behalf of all parties in private children disputes, including parents, extended family members, and rule 16.4 Guardians. Her recent cases have included disputes about contact and residency, other section 8 orders (such as specific issues in relation to schooling) and parental responsibility.

Victoria has experience in cases involving allegations of parental alienation, applications for leave to remove, and those involving serious allegations of domestic abuse. A number of her cases have involved the instruction of experts.

Victoria acts in all aspects of family finance proceedings, including matrimonial finance, applications pursuant to TOLATA 1996, and applications under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.

She has undertaken advice and court proceedings in relation to variation and enforcement, and has experience in cases concerning pre/post-marital assets, contributions, non-disclosure, and jurisdictional issues.

Victoria has experience acting both in court and as part of methods of alternative dispute resolution, having represented clients in both Arbitrations and Private FDRs.

Victoria undertakes cases in public law proceedings on behalf of Local Authorities, parents, Guardians, and other family members. She has acted in cases involving neglect, domestic abuse, substance misuse and allegations of child sexual abuse.

She has recently acted as a junior to Victoria Green in a long running care case, from which two reported judgments are awaited.

Victoria undertakes cases at every stage of child abduction proceedings. During her pupillage she observed and helped with cases involving the Hague Convention and Brussels II Revised, including on an ex parte basis and contested final hearings.

Victoria accepts instructions from members of the public on a direct access basis.

Victoria is available to conduct private FDRs.
