Mrs Tini Owens has been granted permission to appeal to the Supreme Court against the decision of the Court of Appeal in a much-publicised defended divorce suit. Five members of 1 King’s Bench Walk are involved in the case.
Mrs Owens is represented by Philip Marshall QC, leading Stephen Jarmain and Millicent Benson, instructed by Simon Beccle and Charlotte Skea-Strachan of Payne Hicks Beach.
James Turner QC and Deepak Nagpal, instructed on behalf of ‘Resolution’ by Nicola Rowlings of Mills and Reeve, drafted submissions on points of principle that were lodged in support of the application for permission.
