Ambika started her pupillage at 1KBW in October 2025 and is currently under the supervision of Alex Tatton-Bennett. She is enthusiastic about developing her practice across the full range of family law matters.
Before commencing pupillage, Ambika demonstrated her advocacy skills by winning the Middle Temple Rosamund Smith Mooting Competition. She also served as a Judicial Marshal to HHJ Lazarus at Bromley County Court, gaining valuable insight into judicial decision-making processes.
Ambika has a strong dedication to ensuring access to justice, reflected in her pro bono work. Her volunteer experience includes working at a community legal advice centre, where she interviewed clients and offered legal support to unrepresented individuals on matters spanning family, immigration, and employment law. Beyond legal volunteering, Ambika has also contributed to charitable causes by coordinating fundraising initiatives for Oxford Pink Week benefiting breast cancer charities and supporting Marie Curie UK through voluntary work.
