Zoe accepts instructions in all areas of family law. She joined chambers as a tenant in October 2022 following the completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Nicholas Anderson, Charlotte Hartley, Martha Holmes and George Gordon.

Prior to joining chambers, Zoe was a paralegal at a boutique London law firm specialising in complicated high net worth divorce and covering all aspects of family law. She has also previously worked as a tutor and lecturer at Kings College London and the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Zoe accepts instructions in all aspects of financial proceedings including matrimonial finance, enforcement, variation, applications pursuant to TOLATA 1996 and applications under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989. During her pupillage she observed and assisted with complex financial cases involving substantial assets, non-matrimonial property, trusts and Part III claims.

Zoe acts on behalf of all parties in private children disputes concerning contact, residence, relocation, enforcement, and all aspects of parental responsibility. During pupillage, she witnessed many complex private children cases including those involving international relocation, serious allegations of domestic abuse and the instruction of experts.

Zoe has represented clients in complex cases involving alienation, rule 16.4 guardians, allegations of domestic abuse and parallel care proceedings. She has represented clients in the High Court in ‘stranded spouse’ cases and ‘Article 21’ cases.

Zoe is available to instruct in all stages of child abduction work. During pupillage, she observed and helped with cases involving the Hague Convention and Brussels II Revised.

Zoe has represented clients in the High Court and has been required to undertake extensive research into jurisdiction issues in international children law.

Zoe accepts instructions in public law proceedings on behalf of Local Authorities, parents, Guardians, and other family members.
